How We Help

Planning & Preparation

You don't have to wait for a crisis to make things easier for yourself and the people around you.

Support can include organizing important information and documents, identifying gaps, digital legacy planning, preparing information others may eventually need, thinking through wishes and priorities, preparing for conversations with family and professional advisors, and coaching to help turn intentions into action.

The goal isn't to predict everything that could happen.

It is to leave fewer questions for someone else to answer.

Executor & After-Loss Support

After a death, the amount of practical work can be surprising.

Support may include gathering and organizing information and documents, creating and tracking next steps, preparing for professional appointments, coordinating information requested by advisors, identifying digital accounts and assets, organizing household and personal matters, tracking notifications and administrative tasks, and helping keep things moving toward completion.

We work alongside your lawyer, accountant, financial advisor and other professionals, helping manage much of the practical work that happens around and between those professional services.

Coaching Through Loss and Transition

Loss and major life transitions can affect concentration, decision-making, energy and the ability to follow through.

Coaching provides a place to sort through what feels overwhelming, identify what matters now, break large responsibilities into manageable next steps and keep moving at a pace that works for you.

This is not therapy or counselling. It is practical, forward-moving support for navigating decisions, responsibilities and change.

Working Alongside Professional Partners

Lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, funeral professionals and other advisors often see clients who need help beyond their particular area of expertise.

After Loss Canada provides practical support, coaching and coordination to help clients gather and organize information, prepare for appointments, understand their next steps and follow through on what needs to be done.

Our role is complementary. You continue to provide your specialized professional expertise while we help your client manage the practical work that happens around and between your services and those of other advisors.

We can help clients arrive better prepared, keep track of what has been requested, follow through on next steps and coordinate the information and practical details needed to keep things moving.
