After Loss Canada

Planning for what comes next. Practical help for what comes after.

Life doesn't always give us time to prepare. And even when we do plan ahead, there can be a significant gap between having the legal and financial pieces in place and having everything else organized, communicated and ready.

After a death, that gap can become even larger. There are decisions to make, information to find, people to contact, belongings to deal with and countless details to follow through on, often at a time when thinking clearly can be difficult.

After Loss Canada provides practical support, coaching and coordination before and after a loss.

Currently a division of Organize Anything, After Loss Canada works with individuals, families, executors, and alongside trusted professionals, to help make what comes next clearer and more manageable.

After Loss Canada is currently a division of Organize Anything. After Loss Canada provides practical organization, administrative support, coaching and coordination. Legal, accounting, tax, investment and other regulated professional advice should be obtained from the appropriate qualified professional.

Before. After. Alongside.

The In-Between Is Where We Help

There are lawyers for the legal work. Accountants for tax matters. Financial advisors for financial decisions. Funeral professionals for funeral arrangements.

But there is a lot that happens in between.

Who helps you figure out where to start? Who helps gather and organize what your lawyer, accountant or financial advisor needs? Who keeps track of the questions you need to ask, the decisions still to be made and the things that haven't been finished? Who helps when you know what you should do, but you're overwhelmed and having trouble actually doing it? And who is there when the appointments are over, family members have returned to their lives and there is still a long list of things to deal with?

That's the space After Loss Canada is designed to help fill.

We work alongside your professional advisors, helping you get organized, prepare information, follow through on next steps and coordinate the practical details that happen around and between professional appointments.

Sometimes that means practical support. Sometimes it means coaching through decisions, difficult conversations or the overwhelm that can make even a simple task feel much bigger. Sometimes it means coordinating information, people and next steps.

Often, it is a combination of all three.
